Brendan helps utility, government and private-sector clients decarbonize the transportation and building sectors.  He has been central to some of North America’s most innovative climate policy. Notably, he led development of the world’s first 100% “EV Ready” residential parking requirement, and has since advised multiple organizations on such requirements.  Likewise, he designed the first-of-its-kind BC EV Ready Retrofit program and was instrumental in the development of the BC Energy and Zero Carbon Step Codes.  

For the past 18 months, Brendan has assisted the Home Performance Stakeholder Council in developing and implementing a Residential HVAC Workforce Certifications Roadmap, outlining how to update the system of workforce credentials and associated compliance regimes to support the transition to zero carbon HVAC system.
